Martínez-Sotomayor is the author of numerous books and is also a respected editor in South Florida. Tres Damaturgos, Tres Generaciones is his newest book, on playwrights from three different generations: Matías Montes Huidobro; José Abreu-Felippe; and Ernesto García.
This program features poet Rodrigo de la Luz, Curator Rene Morales & artist George Sanchez Calderon. Cuban-American poet Rodrigo de la Luz has published four poetry books. Curator Rene Morales has organized excellent art exhibitions at the Miami Art Museum. George Sanchez Calderon is a local Cuban-American artist whose work has recently appeared in Bal Harbour and at the Miami Art Museum New Works exhibition.
Ileana Fuentes, writer, activist, professor and director of the Cuban Museum of Miami, is interviewed by Dr. Aida Levitan and Julián Linares. Also participating in this program is poet and artist Rodrigo de la Luz, as well as Alex Fumero, producer, writer and actor, who discusses A Very Merry Hialeah (Haikus) Christmas, a show to be held December 22 at the CCEMiami (Spanish Cultural Center).
