ArtesMiami Becomes Official Sponsor of Cuban Cinema Series

We are proud to announce thatArtesMiami is the official sponsor of the Miami Dade College’s Cuban Cinema Series, and also the Spotlight on Cuban Films at the upcoming 41st Miami Film Festival.

Anticipation builds for the anticipated Spotlight on Cuban Films programmed by Alejandro Ríos for the Festival’s 41st Edition – taking place on April 5-14, 2024, with tickets going on sale next week!

After the festival, the Cuban Cinema Series founded by Ríos resumes on Thursday, May 16th, at 7:00 PM with El Caso Padilla by Director Pavel Giroud, which documents the famous case of the poet Heberto Padilla, who was forced to incriminate himself after being arrested by state security, which accused him of counterrevolution. ArtesMiami has made an additional donation to the documentary El Caso Padilla.
