In 2024 Miami Film Festival’s “Spotlight on Cuba” and “Cuban Cinema Series” were sponsored by ArtesMiami. The films, created by Cuban Americans and/or featuring Cuban themes, were well received by the public and the press. ArtesMiami provided complimentary tickets to ArtesMiami donors so they could enjoy screenings of these films at various Miami theaters. The films included: “Landrián,” “Unión de Reyes,” “The Geeks,” and “Los Frikis.” ArtesMiami also supported the film “El Caso Padilla” with a donation to the producers. Among the directors who attended was famous Cuban-American actor Danny Pino.
