With the title “Music from Both Sides of the Atlantic,” the Belcorde Duo, comprised of Manuel Briega (violin) and Adrián Fernández (guitar), presented a vibrant and rhythmic musical performance on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. at the Koubek Center, sponsored by ArtesMiami and produced by CCEMiami. All the compositions selected for this concert program were widely recognized due to the close historical and cultural ties that bind us on both sides of the Atlantic. The violin and Spanish guitar came together in perfect symbiosis, making these instruments the ideal vehicles for this repertoire that reflects the essence of both territories. Manuel Briega, a violinist from Ciudad Real, Spain, and Adrián Fernández, a Spanish guitarist also from Ciudad Real, traveled from Madrid and presented a varied repertoire of songs from Cuba, Spain, Venezuela and other Latin American countries.
