In 2022 Forbes also selected Dr. Levitan for its FiftyOverFifty recognition (Money Category) for her work as Chair of U.S. Century Bank.
Aida Levitan founded ArtesMiami under the name of Hispanic Events, Inc. in 1995. In 2009 the name was changed to ArtesMiami, Inc. Since then she has donated almost $2.7 million in cash and pro bono services to the nonprofit organization. She continues to serve as President of ArtesMiami.
