On behalf of the board of directors of ArtesMiami and as its President, I want to express our support for the brave artists and protesters who are risking their lives by demanding freedom and an end to the dictatorship that has been oppressing them in Cuba for 62 years.

ArtesMiami supports freedom of expression, democratic voting and respect for human rights. We ask other artistic and cultural organizations in the world to join us in declaring their support for these artists, who have been promoters of a movement to free Cuba from those who repress them.
